Independent development studio

Your world.
Your rules.

We build custom Minecraft mods and plugins: items, mechanics, events and server systems. From the first idea to a finished .jar, with a clear quote before we start.

No spec needed. We start from your own words.

We work with the whole stack

  • Foliaplugins

Built around your task

We also do

Port to a newer version

We move a mod or plugin to another game version, including rewriting old code for a newer one, for example from 1.12.2 to 1.21 or 26.x.

Learn more

Another loader

We rewrite from Forge to Fabric or NeoForge, from Spigot to Paper or Folia, and build a mod and server plugin pair.

Learn more

Changes and fixes

New features in someone else’s mod or plugin, bug and crash fixes, compatibility with other mods, better performance.

Learn more

Translation into other languages

We translate a mod or plugin into popular languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and more, and check that the text fits the interface.

Discuss

3D models and textures

Block, item and mob models in Blockbench, animations, textures and resource packs in the game’s style.

Discuss

Bedrock add-ons

Behavior and resource packs and the Script API: content and mechanics for Bedrock Edition on phones, consoles and Windows.

Server setup

We pick and configure mods and plugins, configs, permissions and protection, speed the server up and put together a pack for players.

A developer for your team

We join your project: take tasks from your list, find our way around existing code and agree a deadline for each task.

Discuss

Who builds it

The people of the studio.

The person who writes the code runs your order. There are no managers between you and the developer.

  • Ma3auka

    Lead developer

Writes mods, plugins and this site.

  • rainbowboiii

    3D artist

    Draws models, textures and blocks.

  • Flln1215

    QA tester and game designer

Tests every mod before delivery and designs its mechanics.

Every step agreed in advance

How a mod or plugin is born.

Six steps from the first sentence to a finished .jar. At every one it is clear what is done and what comes next.

  1. The idea

You tell us what should happen in the game. One sentence is enough: we ask questions to work out the rest.

  2. Scope and quote

We settle the mechanic, the game version, the loader and whether it is a mod or a server plugin. Scope, price and deadline are fixed before development starts.

  3. Mechanic prototype

The first working build: the mechanic already runs in game, without polish. It shows whether we are building the right thing.

  4. Content and balance

Textures, models, recipes, commands, text and numbers: we turn the draft into finished game content.

  5. Testing on your version

We test in game on the agreed version and loader, in single player or on a server, and apply your notes.

  6. Handover of the .jar

You get the finished build, install instructions and the agreed support terms, and the mod or plugin is yours.

The studio’s own projects

Our projects.

Three released mods for Minecraft 26.3, from small tools to a system with its own game logic.

Ala Industrial content in game: processing machines, generators, cables and a wall of the mod’s items

Tech mod

Ala Industrial

The whole power progression, from the first lightbulb to a nuclear reactor at 512 EU/t, built by the player.

  • Minecraft 26.3
  • Fabric + NeoForge
  • 24 languages

Tech mod

An industrial EU power grid inside the game: solar, fuel and geothermal generators, a chain of processing machines, four new ores with a full refining cycle, cables and batteries. At the top of the progression sits a multiblock nuclear reactor the player builds themselves, up to 512 EU/t.

Every machine recipe has its own category in REI and JEI, a built-in analyzer highlights the power network, and in-game achievements guide the player from first power to first machine.

Discuss a system like this
The short link to an uploaded log in the in-game chat, shown by the Ala Logger mod

Log utility

Ala Logger

A log or crash report → a link in chat with the cause already found.

  • Fabric + NeoForge
  • 12 languages

Log utility

One command, and the log or crash report goes to the site while a short link lands in chat. Before sending, the mod strips IP addresses and user names out of paths and names the causes of the crash it found.

The upload-confirmation dialog over an in-game build, shown by the Ala Screen mod

Screenshot utility

Ala Screen

F2 → a compressed frame, the link unfolds as a picture in Discord.

  • Fabric + NeoForge
  • 14 languages

Screenshot utility

F2 works as it always did, but a "share" appears next to it. The mod shows you the frame first, scales the uploaded copy to fit the limit (the file on disk keeps its full resolution) and hands back a link that unfolds as the picture in Discord.

Custom work

And more

A personal mod idea, a plugin for a server, a fix for someone else’s system: we discuss these separately.

Custom work

Besides the open mods, the studio also takes on work outside this list: a personal mod for a player’s idea, a plugin for a specific server, a fix to someone else’s system, by arrangement with the client.

Discuss your idea

These are the studio’s own mods, not client work: the sources are open and the builds live on the platforms and keep getting updates.

Before we start

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Common questions about custom Minecraft mod and plugin development.

Can I order a mod or plugin without a written spec?

Yes. Describe what should happen in the game and add links to examples if you have any: videos, screenshots, similar mods. We ask the follow-up questions and help shape the mechanic.

Which Minecraft versions and loaders do you support?

Mods on Fabric, NeoForge and Forge, server plugins on Paper, Spigot, Purpur and Folia, and add-ons for Bedrock. Any game version from 1.7.10 to 26.3. The exact version and compatibility with other mods are confirmed before the quote.

How much does a custom mod or plugin cost?

The price follows the task: a single item and an economy system take very different amounts of work. After the discussion we agree on the quote and the deadline.

Can you make a custom Minecraft mod for my YouTube channel?

Yes. We build the mechanic around your scenario, challenge or series for videos and streams, and agree up front how events are triggered and controlled while filming.

What do I get at the end?

A working .jar for the agreed version and install instructions. Source code, usage rights, fixes and updates are all settled before the project starts.

Can you extend an existing mod or plugin?

Send the list of changes, the version and what sources are available. We will assess the work against the project architecture and the rights to the code.

Can you move a mod to a newer version or another loader?

Yes. We move mods and plugins between game versions, rewriting outdated code for the new one, and between loaders: Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Spigot, Paper, Folia. We need the source code: for someone else’s mod we check its licence first.
